About Todd

Todd Nolan earned his law degree from Creighton University in 1997 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at Arizona State University in 1993. His academic background combined study of law and the workings of government. Those credentials set the stage for a career based in Arizona.

After law school Nolan began practicing in Arizona and in 2000 he opened The Nolan Law Office. The firm has been his primary professional base since then. Over the years he has handled matters arising under Arizona law and has maintained a steady presence in state courts. His practice reflects a small-firm model: direct contact with clients and hands-on management of cases.

Colleagues and clients describe Nolan as practical and straightforward. He emphasizes clear explanation of legal options and realistic planning. He approaches casework as a sequence of decisions: gather facts, identify legal issues, and then pursue the most appropriate procedural path. He prepares for hearings and trials, but he also looks for resolutions that reduce cost and delay when those routes suit a client’s goals.

Nolan’s work has required him to move between the courtroom, the negotiating table, and the office. He has spent time drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and conducting client counseling. He has also navigated the procedural and evidentiary rules that shape state-court practice in Arizona. That practical familiarity with local practice informs how he allocates time and resources on a file.

Outside of litigation mechanics, Nolan draws on his political science background when cases touch on government processes or administrative issues. His training helps him parse statutes, ordinances, and regulatory frameworks and explain how they affect a client’s position. He tends to break complex questions into smaller, answerable ones so clients can make informed choices.

Nolan keeps his practice focused on matters arising in Arizona and on serving individuals and businesses that need representation in state courts and administrative venues. He manages a caseload at The Nolan Law Office and continues to handle filings, court appearances, and client consultations personally. He currently concentrates his practice on civil matters in Arizona state courts.
