About Todd Michael
Todd Michael Mosser built a legal career that moves between trial work and public service. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2001. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that has covered criminal matters, class actions and complex civil litigation.
He began his professional life at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office in 2001. That role gave him early courtroom experience and exposure to the demands of public prosecution. He later joined the U.S. Army Reserves as a Judge Advocate, serving as a captain in 2003. The military stint ran alongside his civilian practice and added a different set of responsibilities and procedural perspectives.
By 2005 he had moved into class action work at Schiffrin & Barroway. The following year he joined Golomb & Honik, P.C. as a plaintiffs litigation associate, where he handled a range of civil matters. Those positions refined his approach to large-scale litigation and client counseling in multi-party disputes. In 2012 he worked at McEldrew Law, and a year later he established his own firm, Mosser Legal.
Founding a firm changed his daily routine. He shifted from working as part of larger litigation teams to overseeing case strategy, client intake and litigation planning. Mosser Legal, PLLC has been the vehicle for that work since 2013. The firm handles civil litigation, including class actions and individual claims, and pursues matters in both state and federal courts.
Mosser is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and holds admissions that allow practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit, the Sixth Circuit and the Ninth Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He maintains active memberships in the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
He holds Rule 801 certification from PACLE, a credential that relates to rules of evidence and courtroom procedure. That certification aligns with his litigation practice and the types of hearings and trials he handles.
Colleagues describe him as a practitioner who combines trial experience with class action work. He continues to manage litigation at Mosser Legal, PLLC, where his practice centers on civil litigation and representing plaintiffs in class actions.
