About Todd D.
Todd D. Gardner built his path through law on steady schooling and early public-facing studies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1994 from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, concentrating in criminal justice and political science. He stayed at Saint Mary’s for a master’s degree in secondary social science education, completing the M.A. in 1996. Gardner then enrolled at William Mitchell College of Law and received his J.D. in 2000.
Gardner began practicing soon after law school. His first position was as an associate at Meuser & Associates, P.A., in 2000. A year later he moved to Jardine, Logan & O’Brien as an associate. Those early years in firm settings gave him front-line experience in courtroom procedure and client work. In 2002 he opened Gardner Law Office, LLC and has practiced there since. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Professional affiliation has been a consistent part of Gardner’s career. He holds membership in the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2001. He joined the Hennepin County Bar Association in 2002 and has been listed with MNAJ since 2005. Those memberships reflect long-standing ties to local and national legal communities and regular contact with other practitioners across the state.
Over more than two decades at the bar, Gardner has handled matters in both state and federal venues. His work has moved through firm environments and private practice, and he has navigated the procedural demands of district courts in Minnesota. He brings the experience of transitioning from associate roles in established firms to running a small law office, a change that shifted responsibilities from assigned tasks to managing client relationships and case strategy.
Gardner Law Office, LLC remains his primary base. The firm has been operating since 2002 and continues to serve clients in Minnesota. He appears in state courts and before the federal court in Minnesota, and his practice reflects the practical demands of litigation and client service in those forums. His current practice focuses on matters handled in Minnesota state and federal courts.
