Timothy Mark Hyden is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1986. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Hyden is a partner at Hyden-Zakheim, LLP, a law firm located in San Ramon, California. He has been practicing law for over 39 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Hyden earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated in 1986. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982. During his time at McGeorge School of Law, he was involved in various legal seminars and served as an adjunct professor at the John F. Kennedy School of Law in Pleasant Hill, California, from 1999 to the present.
Mr. Hyden concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business law, family law, personal injury, and probate. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving civil litigation, business and real estate planning and litigation, family law, probate and probate litigation, and personal injury. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hyden has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Contra Costa, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Ramon for five years.
Mr. Hyden is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council and is affiliated with the Professional Fiduciary Association of California. He is fluent in English, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area effectively.
