About Timothy J.
Timothy J. Fiscella built a legal path that began in the classroom and moved quickly into practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000. He then studied law at Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology, completing his J.D. in 2004. Those academic years set the stage for a career spent largely in private practice.
After law school, Fiscella launched his own practice. In 2007 he opened the Law Office of Timothy J. Fiscella. He later established Fiscella Law LLC as his principal office. Running a small firm required handling many roles: attorney, manager, and client counselor. He has carried those responsibilities through day-to-day work for nearly two decades.
Fiscella is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He has maintained professional memberships since 2007 and remains active in the bar and legal community. That steady involvement has kept him engaged with court procedures and developments in state and federal practice.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in court and concise in written work. He tends to take a hands-on approach with cases, often overseeing filings and argument preparation personally. His practice model reflects a preference for direct attorney-client contact rather than delegation of core tasks.
Over the years Fiscella’s office has handled a variety of matters. Casework has required familiarity with Illinois trial courts as well as appellate procedure in the Seventh Circuit. That combination means frequent work on pleadings, motions, and brief writing alongside case management and client counseling. He has worked with individual and business clients, and his practice structure allows for both litigation and transactional engagements as needed.
In running his firm, Fiscella has had to balance the everyday demands of client service with the administrative needs of a law office. He manages scheduling, case flow, and court appearances, while keeping client communication central. The result is a practice that emphasizes practical legal solutions and accessibility for clients.
He remains based at Fiscella Law LLC, where he handles cases in Illinois courts and argues matters in the Seventh Circuit when required. His current practice focuses on serving clients in matters before Illinois courts and the Seventh Circuit.
