About Tim
Tim Groshens is the principal of Groshens Law. He leads a small practice that provides legal counsel to clients across a range of matters. He is the public face of the firm and carries responsibility for both its legal work and day-to-day operations.
Groshens began his career after completing the necessary legal education and training to practice law. He moved into private practice and over time established his own firm. The path from associate to firm principal shaped how he organizes client work and allocates resources inside Groshens Law.
Colleagues and clients describe him as practical in approach. He aims to give clear explanations of options and possible outcomes. He prefers straightforward planning and frequent communication. Those habits guide how files are handled and how the office sets expectations with clients.
Running a small firm requires balancing casework and business tasks. Groshens handles both. He directs legal strategy, assigns work to other lawyers or staff when appropriate, and manages the administrative side of the practice. That combination keeps the firm functioning and ensures clients have a consistent point of contact.
His work tends to be hands-on. He reviews matters personally and meets with clients to outline next steps. He places weight on preparing cases thoroughly, whether that means drafting documents, negotiating on a client’s behalf, or preparing for court. The firm’s size allows Groshens to remain involved in individual matters from start to finish.
Outside of casework, Groshens attends to the business of running a law practice. That includes intake procedures, fee arrangements, and internal firm policies. Those elements shape the client experience and the firm’s ability to respond to new matters promptly.
In the current year, Groshens continues to lead Groshens Law and to serve clients directly. He maintains a general practice at Groshens Law.
