About Thomas R

Thomas R Walser built a legal path that moves from finance to estates. He studied finance and psychology at the University of Miami, earning a B.B.A. in 2006. Four years later he completed a J.D. at New York University School of Law, where his studies concentrated on trust and estate matters.

Early practical work threaded through public and nonprofit settings. In 2007 he managed operations and programs for ECOMB Inc., the Environmental Coalition of Miami Beach. He served as executive director and chairman of the board for the Students in the Know Foundation in 2009. That same period included internships at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the British Council’s mission to the United Nations, experiences that exposed him to policy work and international institutions.

Walser moved into law practice after law school and combined legal training with private wealth experience. He spent a summer as a law associate at Walser Law Office in 2012. The following year he joined U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management as a wealth strategies analyst. The role involved work on estate planning mechanics and wealth transfer considerations for high-net-worth clients.

In 2014 he took on a leadership role at Walser Law Office as managing partner. That period marked a transition from analyst and associate work into running a law practice. In 2020 he became a partner at Florida Probate Law Office, where he handles probate and estate matters. Across those positions he has navigated probate administration, estate planning instruments, and fiduciary duties.

Walser is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Florida and New York. He brings experience that spans trust and estate law, probate administration, and aspects of wealth planning that intersect with private banking. His background in finance and hands-on roles in wealth management inform his approach to estate matters.

He has combined organizational leadership and legal practice. At times he has overseen office operations and program direction. At other times he provided counsel on estate settlement and trust administration. The mix of nonprofit, policy, finance and legal positions gives him a practical perspective on the paperwork and interpersonal work that probate matters require.

Colleagues describe him as an attorney who operates across courts and client settings rather than staying exclusively behind a desk. He continues to work in the probate and estate space and manages cases at Florida Probate Law Office.

He currently practices probate and estate law at Florida Probate Law Office, focusing on probate administration and estate planning matters.
