About Theresa
Theresa Daniels has spent more than two decades working in and around the courtroom in Florida. She took a traditional route into the profession, completing undergraduate work at Hodges University and earning her J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2007.
Her early legal work included a stint as a claimant representative at Disability Advocates, Inc. in 2003. That role introduced her to the procedural and factual complexities of disability claims. She later joined Kelley Kronenberg in 2010 as an associate attorney, where she handled a mix of client counseling and litigation assignments. In 2011 she opened Daniels Law, P.A., and the following year she worked as an associate at Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. Those positions gave her experience on both sides of small-firm practice and the staffing structures of larger firms.
Daniels is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her membership record shows steady involvement in local and national bar groups. She has been listed as a member of the Lee County Bar Association since 2009 and belonged to the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers from 2009 to 2019. National affiliations have included the American Bar Association beginning in 2020 and earlier memberships in the American Association for Justice from 2008 to 2011.
Her work on community and professional boards is part of her record. From 2013 to 2015 she served on the Executive Board at Large of the Lee County Legal Aid Society. She has also been involved with specialty organizations that focus on disability advocacy and claimant representation, including memberships in the National Organization for Social Security Claimant Representatives and the National Association of Disability Representatives during the 2010s.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Daniels in both administrative hearings and federal court filings. Her background as a claimant representative informs how she prepares cases for hearing. Over the years she has balanced casework, firm management and bar activity, moving between private practice and roles in other firms while maintaining her own office.
Daniels continues to operate Daniels Law, P.A., in Florida. Her current practice centers on civil litigation and representation of claimants in disability-related matters.
