About Tesha M.
Tesha M. Peeples built her legal foundation in Houston. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston–Downtown in 2007 and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Houston Law Center in 2010. Those years anchored an interest in family dynamics and the statutes that govern them.
Her first courtroom exposure came while still in law school. In 2008 she worked as a law clerk at Holmes, Diggs, Eames & Puhl, PLLC. The clerkship gave her early practical experience on family law matters and courtroom procedure. After graduating, she joined Diggs & Sadler as a lawyer in 2010, taking on litigation and client counsel duties that would shape her day-to-day practice.
Over time Peeples pursued formal recognition of her family law work. She is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential indicates she met a set of testing and experience requirements established by the state board. It also aligns with the bulk of her caseload: custody, divorce, property division and related post-judgment disputes.
She has remained active in bar and community circles. Peeples has membership in the Houston Bar Association’s Family Law Chapter and in the Young Lawyers Association. She belongs to the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Her involvement extends to the State Bar of Texas, where she has served on the Grievance Committee since 2018. Early in her career she participated in the Association of Women Lawyers’ Judicial Screening Committee from 2012 to 2014.
Colleagues and peers have known her through legal education and professional societies. Since 2014 she has held an officer position in the Order of Barristers, a group that recognizes oral advocacy in law schools and the legal community. That role reflects continued engagement with trial advocacy and mentoring younger lawyers.
Peeples practices in Texas and has spent the bulk of her career in regional firms handling family law litigation. Her work typically involves courtroom appearances, negotiated settlements and advising clients on the legal and procedural steps that follow separation and divorce. She balances case strategy with attention to client concerns about parenting and financial stability.
She is currently an attorney at Diggs Sadler Peeples Sedita Banda. Her practice continues to center on family law matters in Texas courts.
