About Terri
Terri Herron earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2007. She completed her legal education in Houston and moved into practice soon after. The law degree marked the start of a steady career in Georgia's legal community.
She established Terri Herron Law in 2008, the same year she joined the Georgia Bar. The firm has served as the base for her legal work since then. Early in her career she built the practice from the ground up, handling the variety of matters that come to a small firm attorney in a single-state practice. The move into private practice allowed her to set the tone for how clients are advised and represented at every stage.
Herron has been an active member of several professional organizations. She has held membership in the Georgia Bar since 2008 and is also affiliated with Gabwa and the North Georgia Bar Association, both memberships beginning in 2008 and continuing to the present. Those ties have kept her engaged with peers across the state and provided a forum for continuing legal education and professional exchange. She participates in the bar community in ways that support the work of a small firm lawyer.
Her courtroom experience and client work reflect the steady rhythm of state-level practice. Over the years she has managed case preparation, client counseling, filings and court appearances that are common to attorneys operating in Georgia. That practical experience informs her day-to-day approach to matters that come into her office.
Colleagues describe her as an attorney who favors clarity over flourish. She prioritizes straightforward advice and practical next steps. Clients who come to a solo or small firm often seek that kind of direct counsel, and her firm aims to provide it through consistent attention to procedural detail and a clear view of timelines and options.
Terri Herron maintains her practice at Terri Herron Law in Georgia. She remains an active member of the Georgia Bar, Gabwa and the North Georgia Bar Association, and she continues to represent clients in matters under Georgia law.
