About Ted
Ted Sink trained first as a student of literature and business before turning to law. He earned a J.D. from Charleston School of Law in 2016 and attended Stanford University's General Management Summer Institute in 2006. He also holds a B.A. in English Literature from Yale University. Those academic stops framed an uncommon path into the practice of personal injury law.
His early career ran through strategic planning and brand work. After college he joined Church & Dwight as an account supervisor in strategic planning and research. He moved into advertising agencies, serving as a senior strategic planner at Young & Rubicam/BrandBuzz in 2006, then as associate planning director at BBDO Worldwide in 2008, and as group planning director at mcgarrybowen in 2010. Those years tempered his analytical skills and familiarity with complex client work.
An internship in 2006 with the Supreme Court of South Carolina under Chief Justice Costa Pleicones brought him closer to the law. He later returned to formal legal study at Charleston School of Law and completed his J.D. in 2016. He is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina and began practicing as a personal injury lawyer after graduation.
From 2016 he worked in personal injury offices serving clients in South Carolina and Georgia. Those early years in practice involved handling claims arising from auto collisions, workplace incidents, and other accidents that produce physical and financial harm. He has combined litigation preparation with client counseling, drawing on his earlier experience managing complex projects and teams.
In 2019 he became president of TED Law: Accident & Injury Law Office, LLC. As president he oversees case management and the firm’s day-to-day operations. He also continues to meet directly with clients and prepares cases for settlement negotiations or trial, depending on what each matter requires.
Sink has maintained professional memberships since entering the bar. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2016, and he participated in the Charleston School of Law group of the South Carolina Association for Justice from 2015 to 2016. Those affiliations have provided a forum for continuing education and professional exchange.
He currently represents people injured in accidents through Ted Law: Accident & Injury Law Office, LLC, handling claims in both Georgia and South Carolina.
