About Ted F.

Ted F. Stokes earned his law degree from Arizona Summit Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2013. He also studied journalism and communications at Utah State University, where he completed a B.A. His academic path combined training in legal analysis with an early grounding in written and verbal communication.

After law school he entered practice in the Mountain West. He is admitted to the bars of Arizona and Utah and is licensed to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to handle matters in both state and federal forums.

Stokes’s background in journalism and communications shapes his approach to case preparation and client correspondence. He tends to emphasize clear written work and plainspoken explanations of complex legal issues. That style carries through to brief-writing and courtroom submissions. Colleagues describe him as methodical and direct in his work habits.

He operates Stokes Law PLLC and maintains a South Jordan office. The firm handles litigation and appellate matters across jurisdictions where he is admitted. He has experience managing cases that require coordination across state lines and preparing filings for federal appellate review.

Over time his practice has balanced courtroom representation with written advocacy. He prepares pleadings, handles hearings and represents clients on appeal when appropriate. He also attends to the practical needs of clients who face deadlines in both state and federal proceedings.

Stokes remains active in the legal community and holds current professional memberships. He continues to accept cases through Stokes Law PLLC and at his South Jordan office, representing clients in matters filed in Arizona, Utah, and in proceedings before the Tenth Circuit.

Currently his practice focuses on litigation and appellate representation in state and federal courts.
