About TeAnna

TeAnna Rice earned her B.A. from Willamette University in 2015, where she studied history, archaeology and religious studies. She stayed at Willamette for law school and received her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2020. Her academic path combined broad liberal arts study with three years of legal training in Salem.

After law school, Rice began practicing in Oregon. She is admitted to the Oregon bar and has built a practice rooted in the state’s courts and legal institutions. Early in her career she joined local and specialty bar organizations, an indication of a lawyer establishing professional connections and courtroom readiness.

Rice has been a member of Phi Alpha Delta since 2017, an organization that draws law students and lawyers interested in professional development. Since 2020 she has also held memberships in the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Multnomah County Bar. Those affiliations have informed her work and given her access to continuing education and county-level bar resources.

She practices at Stevens & Legal. In that setting she handles matters on behalf of clients in Oregon. Her everyday work involves client intake, case preparation and representation in hearings. She brings courtroom experience to case strategy and to settlement discussions when those arise.

Colleagues describe Rice as a lawyer who favors clear preparation and steady courtroom presentation. Her background in history and archaeology contributes to an analytical approach that values documentary evidence and careful narrative construction. She applies that approach to the factual development and procedural demands of the cases she handles.

Outside of casework she participates in professional programming through her bar memberships and attends hearings and seminars that relate to trial practice and county bar initiatives. Her ongoing association activity reflects an interest in staying current with practice developments and procedural rules in Oregon courts.

Rice lives and works in Oregon and maintains an active practice at Stevens & Legal. She continues to represent clients in Oregon courts and to engage in professional training and county bar activities as part of her practice.
