About Taylor Scott
Taylor Scott Kenck built his academic foundation at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he earned a B.S. in 2012, studying Spanish, English and pre-law. He continued at Brigham Young University and completed his J.D. in 2017. Those years left him fluent in both languages and comfortable moving between legal research and community settings.
During law school Kenck combined classroom work with practical experience. He served as a legal extern at Wilner & O Reilly, APLC in 2016 and at Centro Hispano in 2017. In 2017 he returned to Wilner & O Reilly as a law clerk and then joined the firm as an associate lawyer that same year. Those placements put him in regular contact with attorneys and community organizations while he learned office procedures and case preparation.
After graduating law school he moved quickly into practice. He took on the associate lawyer role at Wilner & O Reilly, APLC in 2017 and has worked from that office since. He is licensed to practice in Washington and has continued to build experience at the firm. Early responsibilities included legal research, drafting and supporting client meetings.
Kenck’s background in Spanish and English informed much of his early work. His externship at Centro Hispano paired language skills with community engagement. At the firm he has applied those skills in client-facing contexts and in written work for attorneys. He has also handled tasks common to young associates: preparing documents, assisting on filings and helping attorneys organize case materials.
Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in approach. He kept a steady trajectory from undergraduate study through law school and into practice. He remains based at Wilner & O Reilly, APLC in Washington, where he continues to represent clients and support the firm’s legal work. He currently practices at Wilner & O Reilly, APLC in Washington, focusing on client representation and legal support work.
