About Tatiana Nicole Francisco Arias

Tatiana Nicole Francisco Arias Laracuente earned her law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She completed the rigorous curriculum there and entered practice in Maryland, where she has built a steady presence in both state and federal courtrooms. Her legal education underpins the work she does today.

She is admitted to practice in Maryland and before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She also holds admission to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. Those credentials allow her to represent clients in a range of proceedings across state, federal and bankruptcy dockets.

Outside of courtroom admissions, Laracuente maintains active ties to the local legal community. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George's County Bar Association and the Anne Arundel Bar Association. She balances association work with volunteer legal service. She serves as a volunteer lawyer for the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, the Maryland Center for Legal Assistance, Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, Inc., and Community Legal Services of Prince George's County.

Her volunteer roles have her working directly with community members who need legal help. In those clinics and pro bono matters she provides direct counsel, helps prepare pleadings, and represents clients where appropriate. The volunteer work complements her paid practice and keeps her engaged with legal issues that affect residents across the region.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and practical. She prepares filings carefully and presents arguments plainly. She appears in both trial and administrative settings when cases require it. She handles procedural work in federal court and addresses insolvency matters when clients bring bankruptcy-related concerns to her office.

Laracuente’s resume emphasizes courtroom readiness and community service rather than promotional accolades. She continues to participate in bar association activities and to take pro bono matters through multiple Maryland legal aid organizations. She currently practices in Maryland, appearing in state and federal courts and in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, and provides volunteer legal services through several local organizations.
