About Tanya Marie

Tanya Marie Lee is the founder of The Law Office of Tanya M — Lee, PLLC, a boutique immigration firm located in Mesa, Arizona. Established to provide specialized legal services, the firm focuses on family- and employment-based immigration cases. With over 24 years of experience in immigration law, Ms. Lee has cultivated a understanding of the complexities involved in navigating the U.S. immigration system. Her firm also operates an additional office in Phoenix, Arizona, to better serve clients throughout the region. Ms. Lee earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in 1996, equipping her with a solid legal foundation.

Prior to her law degree, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Japanese at Cornell University in 1993, which supports her cultural understanding and international relations. This diverse educational background has enriched her perspective on immigration issues, particularly those affecting individuals from East Asia. International experiences have also shaped Ms. Lee's career. In 1988, she studied at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, which further fueled her focus on immigration law. Before founding her own practice, she served as Corporate Counsel at The Procter & Gamble Company for five years. In this capacity, she managed various legal matters, including labor and employment law, trademarks and copyrights, intellectual property licensing, and advertising law.

This corporate experience provided her with valuable insights into the intersection of immigration and business law. Ms. Lee also gained judicial experience by clerking for the Honorable Nathaniel R — Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. This role allowed her to engage with complex legal issues and understand the details of appellate law. Additionally, she has contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor, teaching Business Associations at Phoenix School of Law. Her commitment to education and mentorship shows her dedication to the legal profession. Professional associations play a significant role in Ms.

Lee's career. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar and the Procter & Gamble Alumni Network, as well as the Princeton Alumni Association of Northern Arizona Alumni Schools Committee.
