About Tamra A.

Tamra A. Spradlin built her legal foundation at Oklahoma City University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities in 1989 and continued at the university’s School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1992. Her academic path was local and steady, anchored in the Oklahoma City legal community she would join after graduation.

Her first role after law school placed her in the public defender’s office. In 1992 she served as an Assistant Public Defender in Oklahoma County. That year in courtrooms introduced her to trial work and the pressures of public defense. The experience shaped how she approached cases and clients in the years that followed.

After several years in public service she moved into private practice. Her career includes a long-standing association with Quick, McCown & Spradlin. She has been active in professional circles since 1992 and maintains memberships in regional legal organizations. The record shows she is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, a credential that broadens the range of matters she may accept.

Spradlin’s background blends courtroom experience from the public defender’s office with work in a private firm. She has handled matters across trial dockets in Oklahoma courts. That practical mix informs how she prepares cases and advises clients. Colleagues describe her as steady in litigation and attentive to procedural detail.

Outside the courtroom she has kept a steady presence in legal associations since the start of her career. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with professional development and local bar activities. She has been involved in firm work at Quick, McCown & Spradlin that touches on litigation and court appearances across the state.

Today she practices with Quick, McCown & Spradlin. Her current work centers on litigation in Oklahoma courts and the types of matters that benefit from experience in both public defense and private practice.
