About Tamara S.
Tamara S. Freeze earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2005 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at UCLA in 2000. Her academic background combined a large public university experience in Southern California with legal training on the Bay Area. The path gave her familiarity with both state and federal legal landscapes.
She began her legal career at Littler Mendelson P.C. in 2005. That early experience placed her in a large firm environment handling employment-related matters. In 2007 she moved into private practice as an associate at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP and later at Bryan Cave LLP. Those years included work in litigation and counseling, exposing her to a range of workplace disputes and employer-side practice before she shifted her own practice approach.
In 2009 she opened the Law Offices of Tamara S. Freeze. Running a solo practice allowed her to manage cases end to end and to represent clients directly in state and federal courts. In 2012 she helped found Workplace Justice Advocates, PLC and became a founding shareholder. That firm-building step formalized a team approach to employment and labor matters and expanded the types of cases she accepts and the procedures she handles.
Her admissions reflect a broad litigation capacity. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2005 and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit, and multiple U.S. district courts across California, including the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts. Those credentials allow her to bring cases at trial and on appeal in both state and federal forums.
Freeze maintains active involvement in professional organizations. She holds memberships in the American Bar Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association, and she has been affiliated with the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles since 2010. She also participates in the Orange County Korean American Bar Association. These memberships keep her engaged with developments in employment law and litigation practice.
Her practice has centered on employment and labor matters, including disputes over discrimination, wage-and-hour claims, and wrongful termination. She represents clients in both trial and appellate courts and handles litigation, settlement negotiations, and pre-litigation counseling. She currently practices employment and labor law at Workplace Justice Advocates, PLC.
