Mr. Mailander earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated in 1989. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Loras College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1979. During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices.
Mr. Mailander concentrates his practice in the areas of securities law and business law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving securities compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counsel. His practice encompasses all stages of legal work, including initial case evaluation, negotiations, and compliance counseling. He has extensive experience in preparing, completing, and filing Exchange Act reports with the SEC, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mailander has handled cases in various courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also appeared before the California State Bar. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for several years.
Mr. Mailander is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the California State Bar. He is fluent in English, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
