About Swapna

Swapna Anthoor built a legal foundation at Golden Gate University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts and later returned to earn an LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies in 2006. The advanced degree offered her extended study of American law and procedure after her undergraduate work. Those years in San Francisco also put her in contact with the local legal community and practical training opportunities that shaped her early approach to practice.

After completing her LL.M., Anthoor pursued bar admission in California and became a member of the State Bar of California in 2009. She joined the American Bar Association the same year and added membership in the Alameda County Bar Association in 2010. Those affiliations have provided a steady professional network and regular access to continuing legal education and local rules developments.

Her legal career has been based in California courts and administrative forums. Over the years she has handled matters that require familiarity with state procedure and client advocacy in both contested and transactional settings. Colleagues describe her work as methodical and client-oriented; she approaches each file by evaluating legal options and practical outcomes. She has balanced court appearances, negotiation and client counseling while managing docket deadlines and filings.

Anthoor practices through Anthoor Law Group, APC. In that setting she oversees client intake and case management, coordinates with opposing counsel, and prepares necessary pleadings and motions. Her practice has involved interactions with state trial courts and various administrative bodies, where attention to procedural detail can determine case strategy and timelines. She has maintained an active role in her local bar community while running a small firm practice.

Outside the office she has remained connected to professional circles through the Alameda County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those memberships have kept her current on emerging issues in California law and provided opportunities to contribute at the local level. She currently practices at Anthoor Law Group, APC in California, handling client matters in state courts and administrative forums.
