About Suzanne Elizabeth
Suzanne Elizabeth Vazquez built a practice around one area of law. She earned her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1997 and joined the Florida Bar the following year. Early in her career she sought professional connections and has maintained active membership in national and local immigration law organizations since 1999.
She launched a solo practice in 2006 under the name Suzanne E. Vazquez, P.A. That step reflected a move from associate roles into practice ownership. Over a decade later she partnered to open Vazquez & Poudat, PLLC in 2018. The firm remains her primary office and the base for her ongoing work.
Her professional credentials include board certification in Immigration and Nationality Law from The Florida Bar. That credential signals she has met the eligibility requirements and peer review standards established by the bar for specialization. She also served on the Florida Bar Board Certification Committee from 2005 to 2008, participating in the processes that oversee and evaluate board-certified attorneys.
Vazquez has been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 1999. She joined the board of the AILA Central Florida Chapter in 2008 and took on the Regional Vice Chair role for the same chapter in 2010. Those roles have placed her in ongoing contact with regional practitioners and helped shape local programming and member services over many years.
Colleagues describe her career path as steady and institutionally engaged. She has combined private practice with sustained involvement in bar and professional groups. Her long-term membership in both the Florida Bar and AILA suggests a practice that values professional standards and peer engagement.
Her day-to-day work is concentrated on immigration and nationality law. She applies the knowledge reflected in her board certification to client matters at Vazquez & Poudat, PLLC. She continues to participate in the Central Florida AILA chapter and remains on the firm roster where she handles immigration and nationality law matters.
