About Suzanne Catherine
Suzanne Catherine Skolnick is a personal injury attorney admitted to practice law in California in 2000. She is the owner of Skolnick Law Group, a firm located in Oceanside, California, serving clients throughout North County San Diego. Ms. Skolnick's practice focuses on personal injury cases, including car accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, work injuries, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, wrongful death cases, motorcycle accidents, and truck accidents.
Ms. Skolnick earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2000. Prior to law school, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1994. During her undergraduate studies, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Throughout her career, Ms. Skolnick has handled various personal injury cases, representing clients at all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings. She has achieved significant settlements, such as a $6,000,000 settlement with the County of Riverside for a client who sustained a catastrophic brain injury.
Ms. Skolnick is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. She is a member of the North County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, and the San Diego County Bar Association. In 2025, she served as the President of the North County Bar Association.
Ms. Skolnick is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve the diverse communities of San Diego County. She is also a published author, having co-written "Win Big on Your Personal Injury Case" with her co-counsel, Russell Kohn, Esq.
