Susan Marie Krumplitsch is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Krumplitsch is a partner at DLA Piper LLP (US), a global law firm with offices in Palo Alto, California. She has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout the Silicon Valley area.

Ms. Krumplitsch earned her Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2005. Prior to law school, she completed her Master of Science in Immunology and Infectious Disease at Harvard University School of Public Health in 1999. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained in 1993.

Ms. Krumplitsch specializes in intellectual property law, focusing on patent litigation and strategic counseling for life sciences companies. She represents clients in patent and trade secret disputes, particularly within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation counseling, discovery, motion practice, trial proceedings, and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Krumplitsch has handled cases in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court. Before joining DLA Piper, she was an associate at Cooley LLP, where she was elected to the partnership in 2018.

Ms. Krumplitsch is an active member of the American Bar Association and the California Bar Association.
