About Sully T.
Sully T. Bryan earned his law degree from Brigham Young University in 2015. He completed his J.D. that year and moved quickly into roles that mixed courtroom exposure with office-side responsibilities. Before finishing law school he spent time at the Utah County Prosecutor’s Office in 2013, a placement that introduced him to public-sector legal work and the rhythms of prosecutorial practice.
After law school, Bryan joined Wilner & O Reilly. He started there as a case manager in 2015, then became an associate in 2016 and moved into a managing lawyer role in 2017. Those successive promotions show steady internal advancement. As a case manager he handled intake and file preparation. As an associate he took on drafting, research and direct client contact. As a managing lawyer he assumed supervisory duties, coordinated case teams and oversaw day-to-day operations for his office.
Bryan is admitted to practice in Iowa and holds current membership in the Iowa State Bar. That combination of bar membership and hands-on firm experience gives him a working knowledge of both regulatory obligations and the practical demands of running a law office. His time in a prosecutor’s office also gave him familiarity with court procedures and case flow in a public setting.
Colleagues describe his career path as steady and practical. He moved from support tasks into advocacy and then into management. Each role added a new set of responsibilities. He learned file management, client intake and the mechanics of litigation support before taking on supervisory and administrative work. The trajectory is one commonly seen among lawyers who shift from client-service roles into leadership within a small or mid-size firm.
Bryan’s professional life is tied to Wilner & O Reilly. The firm lists an office in Fresno, and Bryan has been associated there across multiple roles since 2015. He combines case-level work with responsibilities that keep the office running: staff oversight, case assignment and quality control. He keeps his bar status active in Iowa and maintains professional involvement through the state bar’s membership structure.
He currently practices at Wilner & O Reilly, balancing casework and firm management while maintaining active membership in the Iowa State Bar.
