Stuart L. Finz is the Senior Partner, Senior Trial Attorney, and CEO of Finz & Finz, P.C., a personal injury law firm based in Mineola, New York. He has been practicing law since 1988, focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and products liability cases. Mr. Finz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Long Island University, graduating Cum Laude. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
He served as President of the student body and was listed in "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities." Throughout his career, Mr. Finz has achieved significant success in the courtroom, securing multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients. Notably, he obtained the first jury verdict in New York State against Philip Morris USA Inc. on behalf of a smoker who contracted lung cancer, resulting in a $20,520,000.00 award. Other record-setting results include a $24,500,000 settlement in a Manhattan federal court for a child with a spinal cord injury and a $14,768,000 verdict for a New York City building porter who suffered a permanent arm injury. Mr.
Finz is admitted to practice law in New York State and its federal courts, including the Eastern, Northern. Southern Districts. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, and the Queens County and Nassau County Bar Associations. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Queens County Medical Malpractice Committee and has lectured for the New York County Lawyers Association.
