Steven R. Anderson is the managing partner and co-founder of Anderson & Jahde, P.C., a law firm based in Denver, Colorado. He has been practicing law in Colorado since 1987, specializing in federal, state, civil, and criminal tax controversies. This includes defending malpractice claims, addressing complaints filed with state boards of accountancy and the AICPA, defending against return-preparer penalties asserted by the IRS, and representing accountants facing criminal tax charges. He has also served as an expert witness in tax and accounting malpractice cases. Mr. Anderson is a fellow in the American College of Tax Counsel and has been recognized with the 2021 James Bye Lifetime Achievement Award in Tax from the Colorado Bar Association.
