He was a partner at Furey, Doolan & Abell in Montgomery County, Maryland, from 1988 to 1998, focusing on business law, family law, and estate litigation. From 1998 to 2000, he worked with Intel Corporation in San Francisco, first in its legal department and later in its sales and marketing division. He then held positions in venture-backed internet companies in California. In 2007, he returned to Maryland and became a partner at a law firm in Columbia, Maryland, where he concentrated on business transactions and litigation. In 2016, he opened the Law Office of Steven J. Lewicky, and in early 2019, he co-founded Lewicky, O'Connor, Hunt & Meiser.
Mr. Lewicky is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Howard County Bar Association. He is also a member of the California State Bar. He is involved in local business organizations, including the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, and supports organizations advocating for people with disabilities. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Spanish, enabling him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
