About Steven J
Steven J Goralski built a layered academic foundation before entering the practice of law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2006. He followed that with an MBA from Boston University, conferred in 2011, and completed his legal studies at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2015. The sequence of degrees reflects a mix of technical, business and legal training.
Goralski’s professional path began in uniform. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps in 2006. That service provided early leadership experience and exposure to military legal processes. After moving into the practice of law, he translated that background into defense work for service members and others subject to military jurisdiction.
Following law school, Goralski concentrated his practice on litigation arising in military settings as well as matters subject to state jurisdiction. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky and has represented clients before military courts both CONUS and OCONUS. His courtroom work has included contested hearings and formal proceedings in military forums, where procedural rules and evidentiary standards differ from civilian courts.
His earlier training in accounting and business informs the way he handles evidence and case preparation. Familiarity with financial records, ledgers and business structures can be useful when a matter touches on financial allegations or administrative investigations. The combination of an accounting degree, an MBA and a law degree gives him a skill set suited to complex factual matrices.
Colleagues describe Goralski as a lawyer who applies methodical preparation to adversarial settings. He approaches cases by breaking issues into component parts and addressing facts one piece at a time. That methodical approach suits both the technical demands of financial documents and the procedural intricacies of military proceedings.
Goralski maintains an active practice through Military Defense Litigator, LLC. He represents clients in matters arising under military law and in related state proceedings. He currently practices at Military Defense Litigator, LLC, handling defense work in military and related legal matters.
