About Steven
Steven Chung began his legal path at Pennsylvania State University, University Park. He continued his studies at Widener University, where he completed his legal education. That academic background led him into courtroom practice in the mid-1990s.
Chung entered private practice as a litigation lawyer in 1995. He has since maintained admissions in four states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Florida. Over the years he has handled a range of contested matters in state and federal courts. His work has included pretrial strategy, motion practice and trials in civil matters.
Early in his career he focused on building courtroom skills and managing complex case files. He learned to prioritize clear pleadings and practical case plans. He also developed experience working with expert witnesses and preparing cases for trial calendars across multiple jurisdictions.
Chung has been active in professional circles. He holds membership in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and serves on its Board of Directors. That role has involved committee work and contributing to the organization’s activities on litigation issues. He has participated in events that bring trial lawyers together to discuss practice challenges and court developments.
In day-to-day practice Chung applies procedural discipline and a measured litigation style. He approaches discovery and motion deadlines precisely and treats courtroom preparation as an operating discipline rather than an afterthought. Clients see a lawyer who emphasizes case management, clear client communication and careful preparation for hearings.
He has practiced through periods of shifting court procedures and evolving discovery practices. That experience has meant adapting filing strategies and coordinating counsel across state lines. It has also meant advising clients about venue, pleading standards and timing for dispositive motions.
Today Chung continues to represent clients in civil litigation matters across the jurisdictions where he is licensed. His practice concentrates on litigated matters and procedural advocacy in state and federal courts.
