About Steven
Steven Buitron trained first as a political scientist and public administrator before turning to law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, followed by a Master of Public Administration at the same university. He completed his legal education at Syracuse University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in the mid-2000s. Those steps shaped a practice that crosses state and federal lines.
After law school he entered private practice and moved into firm leadership. In 2007 he became president of the Law Office of Steven C. Buitron, PLLC, where he oversees the office’s operations. His career includes admissions in multiple jurisdictions, allowing him to represent clients in both state and federal forums. He is admitted to practice in New York and Texas and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit.
Buitron maintains an active role in the legal community. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association and the State Bar of New York. Locally, he participates in the San Antonio Bar Association. He also holds membership in the New York State Bar Association.
