Steven A. Alexander is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1996. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Alexander earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in English from California State University, Fullerton, in 1992. He then attended Western State University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. During law school, he was a two-time recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in the areas of Evidence and Remedies.
Mr. Alexander concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation, employment law, and bankruptcy cases. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving serious felonies, misdemeanors, employment disputes, and bankruptcy proceedings. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Alexander has handled cases in various counties across California, including Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fresno, Kern, Tulare, San Diego, and Ventura. He has successfully tried over 250 civil and criminal cases, demonstrating his extensive experience in the courtroom. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Santa Ana for several years.
Mr. Alexander is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Alexander is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively. Additionally, he is a highly accomplished chess player, playing at a master level since the age of five, which reflects his strategic thinking and analytical skills.
