Steve S Baghoomian earned his law degree at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He completed his legal training in a city that is home to complex regulatory regimes, which has informed much of his later work. His early public service experience came in 2009 when he joined the California Department of Public Health as an investigator. He has been active in bar leadership around emerging industry regulation. Since 2011 he has served in a leadership role in the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Cannabis Section, and he is the section's vice-chair. In that capacity he has participated in panel discussions and worked with fellow attorneys to parse new rules and local ordinances that affect businesses and practitioners in the cannabis sector.
