About Stephen M.
Stephen M. Bennett built a career that crosses science, health administration and law. He began his academic journey at the University of South Carolina, earning a B.S. in Chemistry in 2003. He stayed at the same university to complete a Master of Health Administration in 2005. He finished law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008.
Those degrees shape how he approaches cases. A background in chemistry gives him a comfort with technical material. Training in health administration adds perspective on regulatory and organizational issues. The legal training that followed allowed him to combine those strands into practice in North Carolina.
Bennett is a partner at Arnold & Smith PLLC. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. His professional affiliations include membership in the North Carolina State Bar, the Union County Bar, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina Bar Association Litigation Section. He serves on the board of directors of the Union County Humane Society.
