About Stephen L.
Stephen L. Moses completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in 1994 and earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1997. Those formative years set a clear path. He moved from academic study into active practice and has maintained a steady course through both coasts of the United States.
He is admitted to practice in California and New York. After law school he entered private practice and eventually established the Law Offices of Stephen L. Moses, P.C. Over time he has built a practice grounded in courtroom work and client counsel. He has balanced litigation responsibilities with efforts to resolve disputes outside the courtroom when appropriate.
In 2012 he earned a Mediation Certificate from the Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. That training added formal dispute-resolution skills to his litigation background. It also equipped him to serve clients who prefer negotiated settlements or alternative dispute resolution rather than prolonged trials.
Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic. He assesses legal risks and presents options in plain language. He prepares cases for trial when necessary and explores settlement paths when they offer a clearer outcome for a client. His dual admissions in California and New York allow him to advise and represent clients whose matters cross state lines.
Today he practices through the Law Offices of Stephen L. Moses, P.C. He continues to combine litigation experience with mediation training in serving individual and corporate clients. He maintains an active caseload and regularly represents clients in matters heard in both California and New York, where he holds admission to the bar.
