About Stephen K
Stephen K Ganske grew up academically inclined and moved into law after completing his undergraduate degree. He earned a B.A. from Baylor University in 2004 and continued his legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2009. Those years set the groundwork for a practice tied closely to Texas land and resource questions.
His legal career began in public service. In 2008 he worked as a law clerk in the Office of the Lawyer General of the State of Texas. That experience was followed by a series of associate roles at several Texas firms. In 2009 he joined B.R. Allen & Associates, LLP as an associate lawyer. He moved to Judd and Jacks, PLLC as a senior associate in 2010, and in 2013 took a position as an associate lawyer at Knobles, Raetzsch, Moore & Eveld, LLP.
In 2019 he became a member of Moore Ganske Murr pllc. Over time his work has dealt with the technical and transactional sides of property and resource law as well as litigation matters that touch those areas. He handles title issues, lease negotiations, and disputes that arise from mineral and surface rights.
Ganske is board certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential signals specialized training and testing in a field that can be both technical and heavily regulated. He is active in the State Bar of Texas, holding memberships in the Real Estate and Probate Law Section and the Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Section. He also serves as an appointee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for the State Bar.
He maintains offices in Seguin, New Braunfels and Junction, Texas, and splits his time among those locations depending on client and case needs. His work often requires dealing with county records, regulatory filings and contract drafting. He approaches those tasks with attention to detail and an emphasis on resolving the underlying title or lease issues that drive disputes.
He concentrates on oil, gas and mineral law, real estate and probate matters.
