About Stephen
Courtroom doors and union halls have been familiar to Stephen Console for decades. He built a career that intersects labor and employment disputes, bar association work and private practice. His path began in the classroom and carried into decades of litigation and counsel.
Console earned a B.A. from Drew University in 1979. He went on to Villanova University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1982. Those years set the groundwork for a practice shaped by statutory and case law in two neighboring states.
After law school, Console entered practice and over time established a steady presence in the region’s legal community. Since 1990 he has been associated with Console Law Offices LLC, where he has handled matters for clients in and around New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His work there spans courtroom litigation and client counseling.
He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. That dual admission has allowed him to take cases across state lines and to move between state courts and administrative forums when cases require it. He holds memberships in several legal organizations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
Those affiliations reflect the kinds of matters that dominate his docket. Console’s practice commonly addresses disputes between employees and employers, wage-and-hour questions, discrimination claims and related administrative proceedings. He represents individual clients and handles litigation strategies that involve both trial work and negotiated resolutions.
Colleagues describe his approach as methodical and anchored in precedent; clients often see a lawyer who foregrounds legal options and practical steps. Over the years he has balanced casework with involvement in bar activities, contributing to professional conversations about workplace law and courtroom procedure.
He maintains offices serving the region and continues to take employment and labor matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania at Console Law Offices LLC. He now practices employment and labor law and represents clients in workplace disputes.
