About Stephanie
Stephanie Sabelhaus earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from Texas Tech University in 2003 and returned to school for law at Texas A&M University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2011. Those years on campus shaped her legal training and set the stage for a practice centered in Texas courts.
After law school she entered the Texas legal community. She is licensed to practice in Texas and has spent her career working on family law matters. Her work has taken her into courtroom proceedings as well as settlement talks. Clients have relied on her for help resolving disputes that touch on custody, support and property division.
She participates in professional groups that reflect her practice area. Sabelhaus holds membership in the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section and the Tarrant County Family Bar Association. Those memberships have kept her connected to developments in state family law and to colleagues who practice in the same field.
Her day-to-day work involves a mix of litigation and negotiated resolution. She represents individuals in divorce proceedings and related domestic matters. She handles issues that commonly arise when personal relationships are being untangled, including child custody, visitation, child support and the division of marital assets. She also assists clients who need temporary orders during the pendency of a case and those who seek modifications after a judgment is entered.
Sabelhaus is a member of Varghese Summersett Family Law Group. At the firm she works alongside other family law attorneys and support staff to prepare cases for court and to pursue settlements when that path serves a clients interest. Her practice balances the procedural demands of litigation with efforts to reach practical outcomes for clients and their families. She currently represents clients in family law matters.
