About Stephanie
Stephanie Mazzoncini built her legal foundation in Northern California. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University in 2012, then moved on to the University of San Francisco School of Law where she completed her J.D. in 2015 after starting the program in 2012. She later completed an LL.M. in Taxation at Golden Gate University School of Law in 2017, having begun that graduate program in 2016.
After finishing her J.D., Mazzoncini entered the California legal market at a time when tax and regulatory issues were receiving increasing attention from both individuals and businesses. She is admitted to practice in California and has built a practice that draws on her advanced tax training. Her academic path gave her a technical grounding in tax rules and a sense for how those rules affect real clients.
Early in her career she handled matters that required careful analysis of tax codes and regulatory guidance. Colleagues describe her as thorough in documenting positions and precise in written work. She developed experience in compliance and research, areas that often require attention to detail and patience.
Over time her work broadened to include counseling on transactional tax issues and responding to administrative tax inquiries. She has represented clients in interactions that range from planning conversations to regulatory filings. Her LL.M. informs how she approaches questions of federal and state tax treatment, and it also shapes how she evaluates risk when advising clients about tax consequences.
Mazzoncini practices at Doyle Quane. At the firm she works on matters that intersect tax law and business operations. Her role involves advising clients on tax compliance, preparing and reviewing tax-related submissions, and assisting with transactional tax planning. She handles both individual and business tax concerns in the California jurisdiction.
Outside the office she keeps current on tax developments and stays engaged with the changing administrative landscape. Her practice is built on combining technical tax knowledge with practical problem-solving. She currently practices at Doyle Quane, focusing on tax law and related tax compliance and planning matters.
