About Stephanie C

Stephanie C Aguirre trained at two different campuses before beginning her legal career. She earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law after completing a Bachelor of Science at Florida International University in 2008. Those years of study grounded her in both substantive law and practical skills taught in clinical settings.

After law school she entered practice in California. In 2014 she worked as an associate lawyer at the Law Office of Mary Bird. In that role she handled routine casework, prepared court filings and counseled clients under supervision. The year also included work outside the office that broadened her experience and exposed her to a range of client needs.

Also in 2014 she provided pro bono services through Bay Area Legal Aid. There she assisted low-income clients and participated in intake and client outreach efforts. The pro bono work added a public-interest dimension to her early legal work and offered hands-on experience in client advocacy and legal problem-solving.

Her training at American University Washington College of Law informed her approach to client matters. She combines classroom learning with courtroom practice and client counseling. That mix shaped how she organizes casework and communicates with clients, often breaking complex legal topics into clear, manageable steps.

Over the years she has continued at the Law Office of Mary Bird, returning to the firm environment where she began as an associate. Her career path has kept her tied to practice in California and to the day-to-day work of representing clients, drafting pleadings and managing case files. She has maintained ties to community-focused legal services through volunteer projects and occasional pro bono matters.

She currently practices at the Law Office of Mary Bird, handling client representation, case preparation and legal advocacy in California.
