About Stephanie
Stephanie Burke earned her law degree from New York Law School in 2004 after completing a bachelor’s degree at Hunter College in 2000. She came through a traditional path. Law school followed an undergraduate grounding in the liberal arts and set the stage for courtroom work and public service.
Her early career included a stint as an Assistant District Lawyer in the Nassau County District Lawyer’s Office in 2007. That role put her inside the criminal justice system on a daily basis. She moved into private practice several years later. In 2012 she opened The Law Office of Stephanie Burke, signaling a shift from public prosecution to client representation.
