Stacie Lynn Patterson is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992 and holds bar number 159693. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Patterson is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Stacie L. Patterson, a firm located at 3200 4th Ave., Suite 101, San Diego, California. She has been practicing law for over 33 years, serving clients throughout the greater San Diego, Riverside, and Orange County areas.
Ms. Patterson earned her Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 1991. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Chicago, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her time at Yale, she developed a strong foundation in legal principles, which has informed her practice throughout her career.
Ms. Patterson concentrates her practice in the areas of criminal defense, professional license defense, and government and administrative law. She represents individuals and businesses in matters involving felonies, misdemeanors, white-collar crimes, and administrative proceedings before state licensing boards. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Patterson has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before various state licensing boards in California. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as a deputy public defender, defending individuals charged with serious felonies and misdemeanors, including DUIs, drug offenses, and violent crimes.
Ms. Patterson is an active member of the California State Bar Association. She is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association. In addition to her legal practice, she teaches at a local law school, where she is also the director of the Diversity Fellowship Program. Ms. Patterson is fluent in English, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
