About Sohaib
Sohaib Rehman built his legal foundation in Texas classrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston–Downtown and later completed a Juris Doctor at South Texas College of Law. Those credentials set the stage for a career spent practicing in state courts.
After law school, Rehman entered private practice. In 2016 he operated as a lawyer at Rehman Law Office, an early chapter that appears to have centered on advising clients and representing them in family-related matters. Eight years on, his résumé shows a move to Hunt Law Office, PLLC, where he is listed as a lawyer beginning in 2024. That transition brought him into a multi-office firm environment while keeping him rooted in the same regional bar communities where he has been active.
Memberships and professional involvement have been consistent threads in Rehman’s career. He has been a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and of the Texas Bar College since 2017. More recent affiliations include the Fort Bend Family Bar, the Houston Bar Association, the Katy Bar Association, and the Fort Bend County Bar Association, all recorded beginning in 2024 and continuing to the present. These memberships reflect an attorney who maintains connections to local and statewide legal networks.
Rehman’s practice centers on family law. His sustained membership in the Family Law Section and local family-bar organizations suggests regular work on matters commonly handled in that field. He has combined solo- and firm-based practice models over the years, which has shaped how he approaches client work and case management.
Clients and colleagues describe his approach as direct and practical. He prefers clear communication and an emphasis on resolving disputes through available legal channels. In a practice area that often involves sensitive personal issues, those attributes shape how he manages cases and interacts with opposing counsel and the courts.
Today Rehman is a lawyer at Hunt Law Office, PLLC. He maintains offices in Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress and League City, offering clients local access across several suburbs of the Houston area. He continues to participate in county and city bar organizations while handling family law matters at the firm.
He currently practices family law and related civil matters at Hunt Law Office, PLLC.
