Sidney Ellen Collier is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Sidney Collier, PLC, located in downtown Montpelier, Vermont. She has over 15 years of experience specializing in U.S. immigration and nationality law. The firm, situated at 27 Main Street, Suite 12, offers services in employment-based and family immigration matters, including assistance with H, L. O temporary visas, as well as permanent residence cases such as Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, Multinational Executive/Manager, and PERM labor certification cases. Before establishing her practice in Vermont, Ms. Collier worked in high-volume law firms in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in 1996, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, with a concentration in Latin American Studies and a minor in Spanish, from The George Washington University in 1993. Ms. Collier is admitted to practice law in Vermont. She has been licensed since 2007. She is also a member of the Vermont Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Immigration Law Section, and the Washington County Bar Association, where she holds the position of Secretary. Additionally, she is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the International Medical Graduate Taskforce.
