About Sheryar Asif
Sheryar Asif Choudhry earned his law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. His studies there provided classroom training in trial procedure, legal research and the practical skills that form the basis of his practice today. He began his professional life in New York, where he is admitted to practice, and built experience across a range of matters before setting out on his own.
In 2016 he co-founded Choudhry & Franzoni Law Group and has served as a founding partner since. Establishing a firm sharpened his management and case-handling responsibilities. He moved from being solely an advocate in court to managing client intake, supervising case strategy and handling the everyday decisions that keep a small firm running.
His work spans litigation and transactional engagements. He represents clients in state matters, prepares pleadings and motions, negotiates settlements and appears in court when needed. He also handles counseling for clients who require guidance on legal risk and regulatory compliance. The practice combines courtroom work with written advocacy and client advising.

Outside of casework, he keeps current on developments in New York law and court procedure. He applies that knowledge to case strategy and client counseling. He continues to build the firm’s practice in New York and to handle a steady docket of matters for individuals and businesses.
He currently practices at Choudhry & Franzoni Law Group, representing clients and managing the firm’s legal work in New York.
