About Shawn
Shawn Sasooness earned his J.D. from Chapman University in 2011 after completing a B.A. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006. He finished law school at a time when state and federal courts were adjusting to new procedural trends, and the academic record reflects work completed in that era. His legal education provided the foundation for a practice carried out entirely within California.
After law school, Sasooness began practicing in California. Over the next several years he took on both client work and the administrative duties common to small firm practice. By 2017 he had established his own firm and assumed the title of owner and managing lawyer. The decision to found a firm gave him more control over case selection and office operations.
As owner and managing lawyer at Sasooness Law Group, A Professional Corp since 2017, he oversees daily operations and handles client matters. He manages staff responsibilities, client intake, and case strategy while also maintaining an active caseload. Running a small professional corporation has required him to balance litigation and transactional work alongside the business side of running a practice.
Sasooness is admitted to practice in California and maintains his practice in that jurisdiction. He has continued to work from his firm’s office, handling matters that arise under state law. His current practice concentrates on advising and representing clients in California matters and managing the operations of Sasooness Law Group, A Professional Corp.
