About Shawn D.
Shawn D. Kressley is a Pennsylvania lawyer who built his career in civil litigation after completing law school at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. He earned his J.D. there and began moving through roles that put him in courtrooms and into case files early in his career. The law school years gave him the foundation he uses daily: research, drafting and courtroom procedure.
His first post-law school position on the record was a clerkship at the Washington County Court of Common Pleas in 2011. That role placed him inside the trial court system and offered a close view of how cases progress from filing to disposition. After his time on the bench, he joined Dell, Moser, Lane and Loughney, LLC as a civil litigation associate in 2012. There he worked on contested matters, handled discovery, and assisted in trial preparation for a range of civil cases.
In 2016 he moved to DelVecchio & Miller LLC where he is listed as a lawyer. That step continued his steady focus on civil litigation practice. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to fact development and attentive to deadlines. His experience spans pretrial motion practice, discovery management, and courtroom appearances. Serving on the executive committee of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer Association keeps him engaged with trial practice issues and the local legal community.
Kressley’s professional path reflects a practical, courtroom-centered practice. He has been involved in case strategy, client counseling, and the drafting of pleadings and motions. Now at DelVecchio & Miller LLC, he continues to manage civil matters for clients in Pennsylvania. He handles litigation from the early stages through trial preparation and currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation in Pennsylvania state courts.
