About Shawn

Shawn Brock earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Biology from Coe College in 1992. A decade later he completed his legal studies at Marquette University, receiving his J.D. in 2002. Those years of study combined humanities and science, giving him a broad academic base before he entered the practice of law.

He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and has spent his legal career working in the state. After law school he began practicing law in Wisconsin and continued to build his legal resume over the next several years. In 2011 he joined Hupy & Abraham S.C., a firm with multiple offices across the state. His move to the firm marked a long-term association that has included work out of regional offices.

Colleagues describe him as steady and professional in the courtroom and during client consultations. He handles the routine paperwork and the unpredictable developments that come with litigation. He is known for clear writing and methodical preparation. Those traits shape how he approaches cases and how he interacts with clients and opposing counsel.

Brock has worked from the firm’s Green Bay and Appleton offices. Those locations serve as his base for client meetings, depositions and court appearances. He spends time in local courthouses, where familiarity with judges and clerk offices helps move matters through busy dockets. He also maintains the file work and communications that support each client’s case.

Outside of active casework he has taken part in office-level training and mentoring. He has participated in internal efforts to streamline case intake and to coordinate discovery among teams. That work has tied him into the operational side of a multi-office practice and into cooperation across nearby offices.

Over the years he has handled a range of matters that arise under Wisconsin law. His educational background in both history and biology informs his ability to analyze factual records and technical documents. He balances factual investigation with procedural steps required by courts and opposing parties.

As of 2026 he practices from Hupy & Abraham S.C.’s Green Bay and Appleton offices, representing clients in matters arising under Wisconsin law and pursuing resolution through negotiation and litigation when necessary.
