About Sharon

Sharon Perez built her legal foundation at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a B.A. in Sociology and Black Studies. She went on to receive her J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. While in law school she completed Chapman Law's Mediation Clinic and holds a mediation certification from that program.

After law school Perez entered the field of employment law and workplace advocacy. She joined Workplace Justice Advocates, PLC in 2022. Her work there has involved helping clients address a range of workplace concerns. That has included representing individuals in disputes, participating in negotiation and settlement talks, and assisting in mediation sessions.

Perez is licensed to practice in California and maintains an active membership in the State Bar of California. Her mediation certificate complements her litigation and counseling work. She regularly prepares clients for alternative dispute resolution and conducts sessions aimed at resolving conflicts before they reach court.

Colleagues describe Perez as practical and detail-oriented in case preparation. She approaches matters by gathering the facts, outlining options, and explaining potential outcomes to clients in clear terms. Her practice touches on discrimination and harassment claims, wage-and-hour matters, and employment separation issues, and she has handled administrative filings and policy-review projects for workplaces seeking organizational clarity.

Outside of direct client representation, Perez has taken part in workplace trainings and internal investigations. She organizes fact-finding processes, interviews witnesses, and drafts reports that employers and counsel use to make personnel decisions. The mediation training from Chapman Law informs how she frames disputes and structures resolution conversations.

Perez’s trajectory is steady rather than flashy. She has combined academic study in social systems with practical legal training. That combination informs how she assesses workplace dynamics and remedies for clients. She currently practices at Workplace Justice Advocates, PLC, where she concentrates on workplace disputes, mediation, and employment law matters.
