About Shannon H.P.
Shannon H.P. Ward built her legal foundation at California State University, Chico, where she earned a B.A. in 2010. She continued her studies at Pepperdine University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2015. During law school she worked as a research assistant and took part in the Pepperdine Asylum Clinic as a student counsel advocate. Those early academic roles placed her in direct contact with clients and complex legal research work.
Her practical training began before graduation. In 2014 she served as a law clerk at The Law Offices of Sharon Appelbaum and spent a summer as a summer associate at Taylor Blessey LLP. After passing into practice she joined Taylor Blessey LLP as a lawyer in 2015. The following year she took on an associate role at Aarons Ward, where she has since continued her legal work. She also returned to Pepperdine briefly as an adjunct professor in 2015, teaching and supervising students in a law school setting.
Ward holds certifications in Forensic Identification and Forensic Archaeology from California State University, Chico. Those courses add a technical dimension to her training and inform how she evaluates physical evidence and investigative records. The forensic work complements the litigation side of practice by providing practical methods for analyzing material and scene-based information.
She is licensed to practice in California and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She maintains an active membership in the State Bar of California. Ward is also a member of several professional groups, including the Consumer Lawyer Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Lawyers of California, and the American Association for Justice, affiliations that align with the cases she has handled and the legal community she engages with.
Throughout her career Ward has handled matters that required combining courtroom work, client counseling and technical document review. Her roles have crossed litigation and instructional settings, giving her time in both firm practice and academic environments. She has experience supervising junior attorneys and law students while managing case files and courtroom preparation.
Ward practices at Aarons Ward. She currently focuses her practice on consumer litigation and related matters.
