About Sekou M.
Sekou M. Clarke built a foundation in business before turning to law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Florida in 2006, followed by an MBA in Marketing from Saint Leo College in 2011. He completed his Juris Doctor at Florida Coastal School of Law in 2016.
His legal career began soon after law school. In 2017 he worked as an associate at Scoma Law Office, handling day-to-day client matters and gaining courtroom experience. The next year he joined Orlando Legal as a lawyer, continuing to develop practical skills in client counseling and case management. Later in 2018 he took on a leadership role as managing partner of The Sekou Clarke Law Group, establishing a practice that he leads today.
Colleagues and clients have seen a steady progression in responsibilities. Early roles immersed him in firm workflows and client intake. Subsequent positions expanded his duties to include supervising staff and shaping firm processes. His career path shows a move from employee to firm leader over a relatively short period of time.
Clarke maintains professional ties in the Florida legal community. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. That membership keeps him connected to local practitioners and area resources. He is licensed to practice in Florida and operates his practice within that jurisdiction.
The Sekou Clarke Law Group is the vehicle for his current work. The firm lists him as managing partner and it serves clients from its offices. He has overseen matters originating from earlier roles and brought that experience into his own firm, managing both client work and administrative aspects of the practice.
